Project Overview
Raising the Bar: Navigating the Legal System is a course designed to equip child welfare case managers with the skills necessary for effective court testimony.
Needs analysis revealed that case managers faced challenges in presenting their cases in court, and the agency aimed to reduce travel expenses for training.
My responsibilities

Oversaw every stage of the course development process, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

Collaborated with a subject matter expert to identify and organize learning materials for various delivery methods.

Directed all aspects of video lecture production, from scripting and storyboarding to filming (both in-studio and on-location) and editing.

Created all training materials, including manuals, infographics, and other job aids.

Developed branching scenario activities using Captivate

Designed assessment methods, such as tests and quizzes, to evaluate course effectiveness.

Leveraged the Canvas LMS to create and deploy the course

Provided training for instructors on utilizing Canvas
